When you think of the word “minimalism,” what are the first things that pop into your head? Would they be simplicity, just the bare essentials? Well if that’s what your thinking then you would absolutely be right.
According to dictionary.com, it gives us a definition that goes something like this: “Use of the fewest and barest essentials or elements, as in the arts, literature, or design.”
This definition stays true to the actual meaning of minimalism.
I on the other hand am a big fan of minimalistic things, whether they come in the form of technology gadgets, art pieces, room space, and so on. I simply love objects that incorporate the element or concept of minimalism.
While visiting lifehacker.com, I came across a very interesting article that they posted appropriately titled the postage stamp-sized mini calendar. I was quite amazed to find that upon visiting the source link, in fact such a thing does exist. Not only is it convenient, it also makes sense, and of course is close to the size of a large post stamp. A must check out from us here at Pikism.com. Continue on keepin’ it real for the folks @ Saint Louis University.
If you’d like to learn more about what minimalism is, why not check out Wikipedia? Cause we love it, mmkay?
Last but not least, we’d like to apologize for the lack of updating the website. Unfortunately due to our hectic lives, posting has slipped down to the bottom of the list, sorry!
